Brighton Beach

I took a half-day trip down to Brighton Beach this particular Sunday. It was an interesting place. The beach was fairly nice, if a bit crowded, and the boardwalk and surrounding neighborhoods were distinctly Russian. Brighton Beach, a community on Coney Island, with a population of approximately 150,000, is home to many Russian Jewish immigrants and has earned the nickname "Little Odessa."
