Um, Eighth Avenue?
Yeah, so this is Eighth Avenue somewhere south of Penn Station. I think I was going to see a play this night. Anyway, this shot, however arbitrarily composed, does manage to capture a particular New York moment: the brief time just before dark on a gray day--always a nice time. Strangely, the light in this shot makess it look like it's cold outside. It wasn't; it was August and it was blazing hot.
