Los Angeles Central Library
The library is the building across the street with the pyramid on top. This is the third largest public library in the country, believe it or not. It was built in 1926 and architect Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue designed it to mimic the architecture of ancient Egypt, hence the pyramid.
