The Court of Lions (Patio de los Leones), Alhambra, Spain
Constructed during the second part of King Mohammed V's reign (from 1362 to 1391), is an example of a new architectural style: a mixture of Christian and Islamic styles. The fountain iteslf, which you can kind of see here behind the bishes, is unusual in Islamic architecture because it depictis animals--in this case, lions. The depiction of animals and humans was (and is) forbidden by the Muslim faith.
